Our Mission

The Wiener Philanthropy
focuses on five categories:

  • Educational Scholarships


    In Westchester County and in Israel, The Wiener Philanthropy is committed to leveling the playing field for students, offering educational opportunities with a clear path to fruitful work opportunities.

    Current Grants Include:
    Westchester Community College, WCC Center for Cybersecurity, FIDF IMPACT, Reichman University, SUNY Purchase

  • Community Building


    The Wiener Philanthropy has been a longtime supporter of varied community projects big and small. Currently the philanthropy is proud to be working on rebuilding the Rye Arts Center, creating Westchester County’s first and only true Arts Campus.

    Current Grants Include:
    Rye Arts Center, Cancer Support Team, Community Resource Center, Community Foundation Boulder County

  • Programs for Children-At-Risk


    Providing funding for our most vulnerable youth needing more intensive treatment in safe, structured and loving home environments. Treatment programs offer an opportunity to thrive emotionally, socially and academically, oftentimes breaking the cycle of violence and substance abuse.

    Beit Ruth, Beit Elzraki, Dror Israel, UJA-Federation of New York

  • After-School Programs


    Starting early with the right tools – whether it be computer skills, confidence building or recreational activities, The Wiener Philanthropy is committed to sparking interest in young girls and boys, building character, confidence and academic curiosity.

    Access Opportunity, Junior Achievement, The Wiener Academy, Ofanim, Unistream

  • Israel Philanthropy


    The Wiener Philanthropy is committed to strengthening the state of Israel and communities throughout Israel society. The philanthropy believes that strong communities within Israel support a stronger global Jewish community.

    Current Grants Include:
    Hebrew Union College. Jerusalem Arts Campus, Union for Reform Judaism, OR Movement, TAMID
